You’ve Been Grinding Wrong – Pro Strategy by IGGM to FAST Upgrade Every Workbench in ARC Raiders

If you’re new to ARC Raiders, faced with a screen full of UI and various item icons, your biggest question is often: how to quickly upgrade all your Workbenches – because many weapons and equipment require them for crafting.

Next, IGGM will bring you a guide on how to quickly gather materials and upgrade your Workbenches, allowing you to avoid aimlessly trying your luck and instead upgrade them systematically and rapidly, thus crafting more powerful ARC Raiders items such as weapons, blueprints, and survival gear.

This guide provides five methods; if you’re interested, keep reading.

Preparation

There’s an easily overlooked aspect to ARC Raiders: you can’t see what materials a Workbench requires before you’ve even started upgrading it. This leads many players to return with all their resources only to find they’re missing some core components, wasting time because they don’t know the specific materials needed.

Therefore, before gathering materials for an upgrade, you must first know what materials are required. While the materials needed for upgrades aren’t directly visible in the game, players often share them on various forums, and IGGM also provides ongoing strategy guides, making it easy to obtain a material list.

Once you’ve identified the materials you need, you can begin collecting them to prepare for upgrading your Workbench.

Collecting Materials on Maps

Once you’ve compiled your material list, you can start gathering. Searching the map is a good option; IGGM recommends Stella Montis and Riven Tides maps.

Stella Montis

If you’re lacking health-restoring supplies, head to Medical Research area on Stella Montis map. This is the area with the most health-restoring supplies in ARC Raiders – it’s overflowing with consumables and rare materials needed to upgrade Medical Workbench.

Second, defeating Arc enemies here will yield a large number of Tick Pods, Fireball Burners, and other components. Disassembling these components will yield Advanced Mechanical Components, which can also be used to upgrade Medical Workbench.

Furthermore, the red server racks near Medical Research area have a high chance of dropping Damaged Heat Sinks and Fried Motherboard, which are also upgrade materials for some Workbench upgrades.

If you’ve collected enough materials near Medical Research, IGGM recommends heading to Seed Vault on the same map. Android corpses there will be lying on the ground waiting to be looted, and you can find some electrical parts.

It’s worth mentioning that Loading Bay in Stella Montis contains Deadline Blueprints. If you find one, you can mass-produce Deadlines and use them to kill large groups of large Arc enemies like Bastion and Bombardier at once, thus obtaining a large amount of materials.

However, it must be said that the probability of these blueprints appearing is completely random. So if you want to skip the training process, you can visit IGGM.com to buy cheap ARC Raiders Deadline Blueprint. We offer reasonable prices and the fastest service; it only takes a tap of the screen.

Riven Tides

When you find yourself needing industrial materials like springs and Explosive Compounds, Riven Tides map is the best place to go.

Riven Tides is currently one of the maps with the most abundant industrial materials in Arc Raiders, especially Stacking Yard on the east side of Riven Tides. You might think Stacking Yard is just a collection of containers, but it’s actually teeming with all sorts of industrial materials – from rusty tools to factory-grade electrical components.

You can even find Rusted Gears in Stacking Yard’s Puzzle Room – items with a low drop rate on most maps, but relatively high in Puzzle Room.

By the way, while you’re searching, watch out for the patrolling Wasps and Hornets. Killing these small Arc enemies yields unconventional drive materials (like Wasp Drivers). And they spawn in large numbers, so you don’t need to deliberately run around looking for them; just kill them along the way while collecting other materials.

Against flying, group-moving Arc enemies, IGGM recommends bringing ARC Raiders Weapons with long attack range or wide attack area.

Killing Arc Enemies

Once you have Deadline mentioned above and unlock Explosive Station Level 3, you can target and eliminate large Arc enemies among ARC Raiders to obtain their dropped core parts. Here are Arc enemies IGGM recommends eliminating:

  • 1. Rocketeers
  • 2. Bastions and Bombardiers
  • 3. Surveyors
  • 4. Leapers and Snitches

Rocketeers

They are large Arc enemies carrying heavy shoulder cannons. Defeating them has a chance to drop Rocketeer Drivers, which can be used to unlock Explosive Station.

Bastions and Bombardiers

These two types of enemies were also mentioned earlier; they frequently spawn near Buried City. There are some tricks to dealing with them. First, break their knee-plate armor to slow them down. Second, quickly place Deadline Bombs near their engines and stay far away. Defeating them will reward you with materials such as Bastion Cells and Bombardier Cores.

Surveyors

These roaming Arc enemies appear in large numbers during Close Scrutiny, and you can also find them near the beaches of Riven Tides.

Leapers and Snitches

These two agile Arc enemies also appear in Buried City. Leapers drop Leaper Pulse Units, while Snitches have a higher chance of dropping Snitch Scanners.

Upgrading Scrappy

Finally, don’t forget your Scrappy! It’s a rooster you keep in your Speranza. When you upgrade your Scrappy, it will bring some items back to your Collection Box every time you return from a raid, including some basic minerals or food. So, you might also get some materials directly from it.

Even if you didn’t get the materials, forgive Scrappy for his hard work.

This concludes IGGM’s guide on collecting upgrade materials for various Workbenches in ARC Raiders. We hope this guide will help you quickly upgrade all your Workbenches!
